
On 15-16 October 2026, the University of Liverpool will host the conference “International Cooperation under the European Convention on Human Rights: Sources, Limits, and Enforceability of State Obligations”.
On 15 October at 17:00, Judge Mykola Gnatovskyy (European Court of Human Rights) will deliver the keynote speech, “The Cooperative Infrastructure of the European Convention on Human Rights: An Article 3 Perspective.” The conference will conclude on 16 October with a plenary discussion featuring ECtHR Judges Mykola Gnatovskyy and Vasilka Sancin and the organisers.
